Jakarta, July 3, 2025 – Responding to the real challenges in the transportation, logistics, and supply chain industries—specifically the gap between technological demands and the availability of competent human resources—TransTRACK officially launched TransTRACK Academy, a training and certification platform tailored to meet industry needs. This initiative aims to bridge the skills gap amid the rapid adoption of technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Data Analytics in fleet operations and logistics management. The TransTRACK Academy curriculum covers three main areas: Fleet Engineering, Digital Supply Chain, and Computer Engineering. It offers tiered training programs ranging from beginner to advanced levels, complete with relevant and practical industry certifications. In this initial phase, TransTRACK Academy will focus on two curricula first—Fleet Engineering and Digital Supply Chain Management.
Indonesia’s transportation and logistics sector continues to face operational inefficiencies, from unplanned vehicle downtime to weak supply chain coordination. These challenges stem not only from a labor shortage but from the lack of industry-ready, skilled talent. The country’s Logistics Performance Index (LPI) has dropped significantly from 45th in 2018 to 63rd in 2023, primarily due to weak tracking and tracing systems and limited workforce capacity (World Bank, 2023).
Meanwhile, the adoption of digital technologies in logistics and fleet management continues to grow, but many technicians and operators still lack the skills to optimize these technologies effectively. This gap has contributed to Indonesia’s high logistics costs, which currently stand at around 23% of GDP—well above global standards (Tenggara Strategics, 2024)—highlighting the need for technological advancement to be matched by workforce readiness.

Anggia Meisesari, Founder and CEO of TransTRACK, stated, “We believe technology alone is not enough. We need highly skilled talent, particularly in the transportation, logistics, and supply chain sectors, to ensure that technology adoption is effective, safe, and impactful. TransTRACK Academy reflects our commitment to supporting the national agenda for job creation and strengthening Indonesia’s competitiveness in the global logistics industry.”

Meanwhile, Aris Pujud Kurniawan, Co-Founder and CTO of TransTRACK, emphasized that human capital readiness is a key factor for successful digital transformation. “TransTRACK Academy is an integral part of our long-term technology strategy. The training content is developed based on real operational needs in the field and delivered by practitioners and certified trainers. The main focus is enhancing technical skills in areas such as IoT, AI, and fleet operations.”

Budi Santosa, Head of TransTRACK Academy, added, “TransTRACK Academy is designed to address real industry demands through practical, hands-on training that can be applied immediately in the field. Our curriculum is based on everyday operational challenges, taught by experienced practitioners, and open to vocational school graduates, university students, and industry professionals. Beyond upskilling, the Academy also serves as an official recruitment channel for TransTRACK, with a target of onboarding 30 new technicians by the end of 2025. This is not just about training; it’s an investment in building the future talent for the logistics industry.”
Registration for TransTRACK Academy opens from July 7 to 31, 2025, with a special early bird promotion of Rp250,000 off for participants who register between July 7 and 16, 2025. The programs will commence shortly and are open to vocational school graduates, university students, and professionals seeking to enhance their technical competencies in the digital era.
TransTRACK Academy also welcomes collaboration with vocational schools, universities, and industry communities to strengthen the talent pipeline for Indonesia’s logistics and transportation sectors. The Academy’s activities include book reviews, research and consulting, intensive training sessions, and seminars with leading trainers and experts.
This initiative further solidifies TransTRACK’s position as a technology enabler—not only providing digital solutions to optimize fleet operations and supply chains but also acting as a catalyst for human capital development and data-driven industry transformation in Indonesia.
